Who Are the Odd Fellows?
Odd Fellows, unlike many other organizations, makes no special effort to attract "name" members. It is a warm, personal type of affiliation that doesn't rely on "rubbing elbows" with the famous to give them satisfaction.
Not to say that there haven't been many famous members like those listed below, we just choose not to publisize it. These members famous or not joined the Order not to boost their career or name, but with a genuine
desire to band together with others to "elevate the character of man". The members of today pride themselves on being members of a community doing what we can to make the community stronger and better for everyone.
All Odd Fellows must recognize the universal concept of a "Supreme Being, the creator and preserver of the universe", which is a pre-requisite to membership.
The fraternity is non-political and non-sectarian. Regardless of race, nationality, politics or religious practice, you are a welcome member. In fact, political
and sectarian debate are not allowed at Lodge meetings. Membership in the Odd Fellows provides a rewarding experience for those willing to learn and progress
through the levels of membership. We invite you to join us, get to know us and make a difference in your community.
